Transformers Legacy Lockdown - Custom - SwittCraft

Today marks exactly 4 years since I finished my first custom!

It's been quite the ride since I customized that Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Zenith Carrierzord into an Autobot Ark, and it's been fantastic learning new skills and meeting all of yous!

I've been a little behind on my "customs to-do" list as I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. I'm seeing customs pop up that I had similar ideas for (great minds think alike and all that), so I figured I shouldn't delay putting this little nugget of an idea out into the world.

I got a couple of Axelgrease in last week and I always knew the end game for the extra one. Transformers Animated Lockdown.

Given that we're already seeing official redecos of the Junkion Weaponizers, I figure there is a 50/50 chance we'll get him, and if not...well I've got one.

The biggest challenge with this build is the head. I absolutely hate flat, mushroom peg attachments versus ball and socket. Give the figures squat for head articulation and it's a bugger to replace with a new head. My easy solution? Head swap my extra Scraphook's head with the Axelgrease head and repaint her head to match the Scraphook body. This frees up the Scraphook head for a bit of...resculpting (not my strong suit, but there you have it).

The hook hand was as easy as sawing off the tip of an extra Trailbreaker gun and drilling a 5mm peg and painting.
